as far as caleb knew, forever the sickest kids didn't have to go on stage until nine o'clock tonight. that meant arriving at around eight or so to start the head-count, just to make sure everyone remembered. then, no doubt, they'd have to start warming up and doing their early sound-check. caleb had stirred in the top-most row of bunks on the double-decker bus quite early, only to find himself completely alone. this was highly unusual. he ran a hand through his vivid hair sleepily, only to find a post-it note stuck on his cheek. he frowned slightly before removing it; his confused expression momentarily wrinkling the neon paper.
"turmanator - we went out to denny's and ihop. forgot to tell you. have a good day, sleeping beauty."
oh. wasn't that pleasant? caleb sighed before crunching up the note, and letting it drop down to the floor. "they could've woke me up," he mumbled to himself, his voice grainy yet with sleep. at first, he was highly disappointed to be left out. there was a rare time on tour when he found himself completely alone, and he had no idea what to do with himself. he looked around quietly; forcing himself to step down from his high bunk, and start his day. it seemed like a boring thing to be all alone, but now that he thought about it... he was able to get alot finished.
it had only been a few hours since caleb had woken up, and he was finished for the day. he'd cleaned up the dirty clothes on the floor and chucked them into their respective owner's bunks - only to find that half the clothes belonged to him. he'd decided that a trip to the laundrymat was well-deserved, and took it upon himself to strip down his mattress as well. he'd just returned from a cold shower, and sank into his fresh sheets when he heard the bus' front door open. he sat straight up with an excited grin on his face - half hanging out of his bunk to see whomever had ventured up the stairs. "if you brought me back a pancake, i'll let you have some of my gummy bears," the red-head chirped, folding in the tag of his purple v-neck before realizing who had joined him. oh. that wasn't an unpleasent surprise, atleast.
"scratch the pancake thing," he laughed softly; reclining backward before laying comfortably - aka sprawled over his bed with an arm and leg dangling over the edge. she could still have some gummy bears though.

today had been more on the boring side then Hol had hoped, normally by this time she had to be at the booth. but, since FTSK had gotten a late set tonight she didn't need to arrive untill seven thirty, leaving her with a full day to herself. after staying out a little later then she should have, holly wasn't feeling so hot this morning. she'd woken up a little earlier then she wanted and had been lying in bed for a little over an hour now. though, laying around was something Holly enjoyed greatly, she didn't want to waist a whole day off .
getting up, Holly tripped over a heap of dirty laundry. how nice. she rolled her eyes at her own mess, she'd never been one to keep things in order. most days, she'd simply step over the mess and leave. but, holly couldn't take it anymore. so, she scooped up the heap of clothes and threw them in a bag. holly really should've take the clothes to be washed but instead decided to throw the bad onto her bed. now, she just wanted to get out of here. she'd never really been one to stay inside all day unless she was with someone. she decided to go over and see the band.
unlike every other day, holly didn't feel like doing her hair and make up. or even getting dressed for that matter. she simply threw her hair into a bun, applied a little eye liner and cover up, and put on a pair of shorts and a plain, blue t-shirt. it was unlike holly to not care what she looked like but, she was too hungover to worry about it. it's not like the guys hadn't seen her looking like crap before. she out of the bus she was on, and to their bus . it wasn't a long walk, so it only took her about four or so minutes to get there.
holly didn't bother to knock, she figured the guys were still asleep anyways. letting herself in, she didn't exactly get the greeting she would've expected. she laughed a little to herself at Caleb's request, Hm, I don't have a pancake. But, I'll surely have a few gummy bears, she smiled. holly walked over and sat next to him on the bed. she grabbed one of the shirts on the bed and started helping him fold clothes.
Words four oh three . /: Notes that was really bad, it'll get better. i promise. Watching Monsters VS Aliens. <3 bootleg.

at the sound of the familiar laugh, caleb sat back up again. "be my guest," caleb said in regard to the gummy bears; reaching to the little plastic container he had stashed behind his pillow. you really think that caleb was stupid enough to leave his prized candy out in the open? not a chance. it wasn't safe when there were five guys lurking at all times, if not more. he dropped the lid to the floor and sat cross-legged on his bed, struggling for a moment with his long legs. "thanks," he piped up with a large smile - realizing she was helping him with his new laundry.
holly was a constant and welcome visitor in caleb's opinion, so he wasn't entirely shocked to see her. he was slightly surprised at her choice of seating arrangement, though. he, himself, had trouble getting up comfortably into his bunk over kent's. that was probably just because he was tall, though. holly? not so much. either way, he slouched slightly against the wall of his bunk, careful not to his his head on the ceiling of the bus, or the rack that held the open privacy/sleep curtain. "whaaaat brings you here?" he asked after a while, unfolding his legs, being as fidgety and high-strung as he was. he gave up folding his jeans for a minute to yawn. how he was honestly still sleepy? no idea.
"did you come in here for me, or the air conditioning?" caleb asked - slightly hesitant for the response. he wouldn't blame her if she did say the air conditioning, though. he was used to the texan sun... but california was really just starting to get under his slightly sun-burned skin.

looking around , holly noticed the bus was much cleaner then normal. though, she wasn't one to talk. her room was always a mess. growing up, her mother used to constantly yell at her to pick up after herself. she'd gotten better about it but, still wasn't even semi-close to being perfect about picking up. she didn't really care, though ."mm, thanks caleb" she took a few gummy bears out of the box. she figured he'd had them stashed under his pillow so the others wouldn't steal them. that was a pretty smart move on caleb's behalf, in her opinion.
holly knew the bus like the back of her hand, she was there frequently. she looked over at caleb, he was so tall compared to her. she just came up to his chest. but, that was probably because she barely stood over five foot. she didn't mind though. er. i don't feel good. she sighed, knowing it was her own fault. so, i wanted some company, she smiled at him. holly held her hand out for more gummy bears.
holly laughed at caleb, the air conditioner did feel very nice. but, caleb's company was even nicer. well. orginally, i came for you. but, i'm starting to like the ac more, she laughed at him. holly laid back, pulling one of his pillows tword her. she laid her head face first into the pillow. ugh, do you have any medicine for headaches? , she asked. knowing he'd probably make fun of her for getting a hangover. whatever.

from the corner of his eye, he took notice that she seemed to be surprised by something. a grin stretched across his face. "don't get used to it," he sighed in a disappointed fashion, but his proud, self-achieved smirk never faded. "the guys'll trash it all the second they get back." not that he was excluding himself, or anything. next time there was a party? caleb had vowed to himself to get trashed. he just hadn't had fun in a while, and alcohol was a good link to rejuvenating the party gene. or so he half-remembered. he turned his dark eyes back to her once she plucked out a few gummy bears and shrugged. "i'll get fat eating them all," he mumbled before patting his stomach. "it's alright if you eat them," he put the emphasis on you purposely. "you're polite about it, and don't tackle me to steal them in the middle of the night." trust me. it happened.
at the news of her feeling under the weather, caleb frowned slightly. "sorry to hear that." really, he was. he didn't necessarily feel the greatest either, but he brought that upon himself. "i'm a doctor, incase you didn't know," caleb announced to her as he settled back in his bunk, laying in the spot where he'd been sleeping only a few hours ago, before he pushed a handful of gummy bears into her outstretched palm. "i prescribe these. instant feel-better-ness guaranteed." he smiled brightly - high hopes geared toward the betterment of her health. still, he had a slight suspicion this was only minor.
"for some reason," caleb narrowed his eyes at her, blowing his still damp hair from his eyes, "i believe that." he sighed slightly, readjusting as she snatched one of his two pillows. he his over to the cool side and buried his face against it - looking back to holly after a minute to see her doing the same. he wriggled over an inch or so, and they both easily fit in the bunk once he reached around her and shoved his un-folded clothing to the floor. "i'll get it later." he mumbled, taken over by the urge to sleep once again. "maybe."
he lifted his head off the pillow as she asked for something for her headache. he frowned slightly as he thought about it. "mm, yea. hold on," he said before flipping to his other side. more behind-the-pillow stashing, which possibly made him look like a pack-rat or druggie... but he was just well-prepared. he was twenty one now, and that whole hang-over thing was growing to be a pretty common thing. his own fault though. he fiddled around with the bottle of aspirin before handing it blindly to her - staring at the wall as he cuddled up with his pillow. "i declare nap-time," he laughed softly. "how old are you now, anyway?" he mumbled from her opposite side - too lazy to turn around. "i just have to make sure your hangover's legal." not like he was gonna actually do anything about it.
WORDS - meh. rambling five hundred and eleven. NOTES - way to suck at life, caleb. ungggh. @#%! LISTENING TO - last christmas cover, by the maine. wtf?

holly looked around the area a little when caleb mentioned the cleanness. she knew he was probably right, i mean it's bound to get messy on the bus with a bunch of guys living together. but, this was the cleanest she'd seen it in awhile. "Yea. You're probably right.", she laughed. she and caleb both knew that the bus would only stay clean for a few hours, or the rest of the night at tops. but, then again not everythings about staying clean on tour. more like having fun, and putting on a good show. holly looked at the half-full box of gummy bears, she prefered the green ones. "normally, i might attack. she frowned a little, thinking of how much more fun it would've been to fight over the gummy bears. "i'm just too pooped to beat you up this morning" she laughed, a friendly smile was stretched across her face.
holly flipped herself over onto her back, looking up at the ceiling. she loved how her a caleb just laid around and goofed around, it was relaxing. she smiled slightly, "well, then doctor turnman. i guess i'm lucky to have you here" holly turned her head toward caleb, looking up at him. she drew her attention to the gummy bears, and laughed a little. "i think this will do the trick, doctor." holly took the gummy bears from him, saving the green ones last. she recalled being younger and how she'd play with the gummy bears as if they were dolls before she ate them. those were the good days.
holly, once again, flipped herself over onto her stomache. she closed her eyes and relaxed her body. she was finally comfortable. she didn't quite understand how anyone could enjoy sleeping in these bunks, she found them to be too hard for her taste. she picked her head up and watched him push the pile of clothes off the bed, so much for keeping it clean. "you better." she laughed, and rolled her eyes. "you just picked the mess up, why make another?" not that she was one to talk about making messes. she was probably just as bad as the guys were, being too lazy to keep things clean .
she gave a sigh of relief when she said he had something to cure her terrible headache. she watched him pull a bottle of pills from behind his pillows, christ. what an odd ball, caleb was. "christ almighty, do you have a whole store behind that pillow of yours?", she laughed. holly was more of one to stash things under the bed, not in it. she took the pills from his hand and swallowed them. holly had never needed a drink to swallow pills, which was something most people needed. she sat up, and laughed. "shut up, or i'll beat you up", she playfully hit him on his back. holly didn't want to go back to sleep, so she knelt next to him and shook him. "noo, lets watch a movie" the whole reason she had come over was so she wouldn't sleep the day away. she knew if she took a nap now, she'd be up again all night.
