Lily loved her job. You never found her complaining, most of the time anyway. She worked with amazing people, been all over, and had some real fun times. But sometimes Lily liked to get away from it all. Lilly had decided to spend the day at the beach. She wanted to get a nice tan, which would be hard because Lily got burnt easily, and maybe go for a swim. She may even flirt with a few hot beach guys too. She had gotten a new black bikini with splats of different colors on it. Over her bikini she wore denim shorts. She packed her bag with a towel, water, lotion, sunglasses, and a shirt. She had gotten up bright and early to hopefully miss the traffic. After getting ready and throwing everything into her car, Lily left a note for everyone on the Forever the Sickest Kids bus. She hadn’t told them she was going and hoped they didn’t need her all that much. The note read:
‘Hey guys. I am going to the beach today to relax and stuff like that. Sorry I didn’t tell you earlier and if you needed me, yell at me later. But if you guys want to come, go ahead! Just text me or just come find me. See you guys later today! ♥ Lily”
Lily stuck the note were she was sure they would find it and headed off the bus and into her car. She placed her sunglasses over her eyes and then went her way to the beach. It wasn’t a long car ride really but it seemed everyone was going to the beach today or stole Lily’s idea to try on beat the rush of people. Lily hated long car rides and alone it was torture. She sighed and turned up the music, hoping the traffic would move fast but being Lily this would never happen so it went rather slow. Lily was always described as a happy, crazy girl. Most of the time you saw her she was bouncing off the walls. But road rage got Lily every time. She would find herself yelling at other cars. This only usually happened when she was alone because she knew she would turn pink if someone was in the car. Lily plus her temper is not a good thing.
When Lily finally got to the beach, the parking lot was really crowded. She drove around for a couple of minutes before finding a spot. One good thing about coming alone was she didn’t have to carry much and being small didn’t help Lily a lot. She grabbed her bag and then headed out to find a spot on the beach. When Lily first came here, she found a nice spot that many people didn’t go to because it was far down the beach. Her friends called it her spot. You always found her there when at the beach. So Lily walked all the way down until she got to her destination. It had more people then usual but not terribly bad. She set her bag and towel down. Then she took off her shorts and took her hair tie out, letting her long hair go down her back. She glanced around and noticed a few cute guys. She sat down on the towel and started putting lotion on. A nice tan would go first. As she put on the sun tan lotion she noticed a guy with short dark hair smiling at her. She smiled back and then looked away. This might be a really good day.
