It was another crazy, hectic night on the tour. Everything was the same. The fans were crazy and fun to be around and of course the heat was scorching. This life definitely wasn't for everyone, but for those who it was, this was the time of their lives. Tonight's show was in L.A., one of Ainsley's favorite cities. Especially after growing up on the east coast where the weather was rainy and over cast the majority of the time, this was an awesome place to be. Ainsley headed back to the bus after the long day of concerts. She had gotten some great pictures of the guys and was pleased with herself. As she headed back to the bus carrying her camera, she felt the sunburn on her back ache. She winced and took in a sharp breath, wishing that she would've remembered sunscreen earlier. Oh well, she always burnt and then got a great tan. When she reached the bus, she smiled. Now she'd be able to see what her pictures really looked like.
Ainsley walked up the stairs into the bus and frowned. No one was on the bus. Of course not, the guys were still finishing signing. She had left to upload pictures and tend to her sunburn. The other crew were packing up the equipment to get ready to leave in the morning. Letting out a soft sigh, Ainsley let down her raven-black hair and shook it out. It was still as soft and shiny as it had been earlier, she just put it up since it was so hot out today. As she kicked off her shoes near her bunk she blinked against the uncomfortable sensation her contacts were giving her. Of course, they were dry from all of the dust and heat exposure. After putting some eye drops in and changing into a pair of shorts and a different shirt, Ainsley grabbed her laptop and sat at the table towards the front of the bus.
Ainsley got up from the table as her laptop started up and went to go examine the damage of her sunburn. She looked in the mirror in the small bathroom, and looked at the red area on her back. It wasn't as bad as she had imagined and she smiled to herself as she saw that around the edges it was actually becoming a little bit tan. Ainsley fumbled around in her bag for some aloe vera and rubbed some on the area on her back. As she headed back towards the table, she grabbed a Mike's Hard Lemonade Berry out of the mini-fridge and sat back down. She quickly checked her messages on her iPhone before uploading her pictures. Ainsley leaned towards her laptop as she concentrated on the pictures. Her features were a bit smug as she uploaded them to the band's site. They were probably some of the best yet. Now that she was finished with her 'work', Ainsley needed to find something else to entertain herself.
Usually Ainsley would go back out with the guys and hang out with them as they chatted with fans, but Ainsley figured they'd probably be in soon. It was nearly one in the morning. Ainsley smiled as she imagined the crazy night they'd probably have. Every night on Warped was like a party. It was a good thing they didn't have to be up early or they'd all be screwed. Ainsley opened her iTunes and started playing some music. The speakers on her macbook were pretty powerful, so she turned them up all the way and pretty soon the music was blaring. The guys would be welcomed back by the sounds of Pressure by Paramore. Last summer Paramore had been on Warped Tour and the band got to hang out with them. They had a great time. Ainsley and Hayley got along pretty well and they still talked. That was one of the many perks of being in the music business, you always were able to make great friends. Another great perk was you got to meet lots of people who gave awesome advice. Through out the duration of all the tours and gigs All Time Low had, Ainsley had met some pretty cool people. She also got to hear of some awesome unsigned bands that she had grown to love. She wouldn't trade this for the world.
Ainsley slipped back into reality as the song changed and she adjusted herself on the seat, tucking one leg beneath herself. As she took a drink from the bottle, she swept her raven hair back over her shoulders and leaned against the seat. This life was the best. Now only if her best friends would get back, things would be even better. Ainsley had been best friends with the guys ever since junior high and they were inseparable. She wouldn't want to be doing anything else in the world. Taking another drink from the condensation-covered bottle, she cranked up the volume as she texted her friends who weren't on tour.
